Balance & Boundaries

There is no question that we indeed live in a fast paced, fast moving and super busy world. The need to constantly be able to juggle our responsibilities, our ambitions and our personal needs can leave us exhausted, burnt out, and overwhelmed, feeling disconnected from what truly gives us strength.

Finding the right balance and being able to set healthy boundaries are essential for achieving a life that supports our ability to remain resilient when faced with life's challenges.  Striking a harmonious oasis between Balance and Boundaries is essential to maintain but more importantly to “Renew” our physical, emotional, mental, and Spiritual capacity that allows us to continue to move forward in our goals and heart desires.

Balance does not mean equal but simply means finding that do-able space in our hearts and minds where we are able to feel our best selves.  This balance looks different for every person. 

Every now and then it is necessary to take time to self-reflect and ponder where we are on our self-care journey.  Taking a self-assessment of your own wellness will help you to discover what you need more of in your life to achieve that “Balance” that will allow you to stand firm, on your own two feet, in every way. 

With BALANCE... you may sway, but you will not fall!

Many of us have lived a life without personal life boundaries.  Many of us have been conditioned to put our own needs last and the needs of others first. 

We have been taught to prioritize the needs of our parents, children, family, friends, and social circles over our own personal needs. 

We have even been taught that it is selfish to only think of ourselves. 

Let me tell you… this is the Biggest LIE EVER TOLD. 

Ask me why and you only have to look a short distance to your nearest local emergency room where people are overwhelmingly admitted to hospital care because of STRESS… better known as “High Blood Pressure”!

Learning to communicate your boundaries may feel uncomfortable at first, but trust me as you begin to strike your own Life Balance.. asking for what you need and staying consistent in what you will and will not tolerate from others will become easier and easier.  

I want you to know today…

IT IS PERFECTLY OKAY FOR YOU TO PROTECT YOUR OWN ENERGY… PROTECT YOUR OWN PEACE… BY ESTABLISHING A HEALTHY LIFE BALANCE AND BOUNDARIES.
